Youth Rally for City Budget Amendments

Councilwoman Mary Pat Clarke commits to voting 'Yes' to the proposed city budget amendments that would include funding for youth summer jobs, after school activities and recreation.
Safe and Sound Campaign Youth Ambassadors stood outside City Hall all day, asking elected officials to keep their commitments to support youth opportunities.
Outside all day, in over 100 degrees, and many elected officials declined to stop by.

"It's been a long time coming, but I know a change is gonna come"

Despite commitments to support youth opportunities, the city council voted down the proposed amendment. SRB's budget was voted through.
